Asia Ingredients Group enhances nutritional expertise for sales staff

07/02/2024

On June 28-29, 2024, Asia Ingredients Group organized the “AIG Nutrition Training” program to orient its sales team with foundational knowledge and advanced expertise in nutrition to better advise customers on their products. The training program attracted 100 participants through both offline and online formats.

Under the analysis and guidance of nutrition expert MSc, Nutritional Specialist Doctor Nguyen Phuong Anh from Hanoi Medical University, the participants were exposed to numerous valuable topics. These included: an overview of nutrition to reinforce fundamental knowledge from a medical perspective; essential considerations when developing formulas for children, adults, the elderly, and particularly patients needing recovery support (e.g., products for post-cancer or post-surgery recovery, nutritional targets following Ensure/Abbott product lines); trends in nutritional solutions in Vietnam and globally (e.g., sarcopenia, plant-based diets, nut milk). Additionally, participants engaged in discussions based on real-life cases. After the two-day training, the program successfully helped participants consolidate their knowledge of nutrients in various foods and how to create nutritional formulas for different target groups.

As a leading group in the food ingredient industry, Asia Ingredients Group (AIG) provides high-quality ingredient solutions, delivering practical benefits to customers and contributing to community health improvement.
