AIG showcases Vietnamese agri-food excellence at Anuga 2025, expanding its presence in Europe
From October 4 to 8, 2025, Asia Ingredients Group (AIG) took part in Anuga 2025 in Cologne, Germany. This marked the company’s third time joining Vietnamese exhibitors at one of the world’s most prestigious and influential food and beverage trade fairs.
Bringing together more than 7,800 exhibitors from 118 countries and attracting over 160,000 international trade visitors, Anuga provides an important platform for Vietnamese agri-food businesses to promote their products, build global connections, and expand international partnerships.
At the event, AIG presented its diverse portfolio of value-added agricultural products, including Vico Fresh coconut water, fruit purée juices, IQF frozen fruits, and a range of internationally certified food ingredients. The company’s booth drew strong attention from European importers and potential partners, underscoring the growing appeal of high-quality Vietnamese products in global markets.
The European Union (EU) is the world’s largest importer of agricultural goods, with a population of over 450 million and a GDP of USD 19.4 trillion. Each year, the EU spends about EUR 1.1 trillion on food and beverages. In 2024, the EU’s total imports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products reached USD 348 billion, with Vietnam contributing USD 5.44 billion, ranking as the 12th largest supplier. However, Vietnamese products currently account for only around 2% of the EU’s total import value, showing vast potential for further growth.
At Anuga 2025, AIG engaged with numerous potential partners to strengthen its European market presence.
Beyond introducing its key product lines, AIG also focused on building connections, exploring new partnerships, and expanding its distribution network across Europe. These activities reflect the company’s long-term strategy to move from being a raw material supplier toward becoming a sustainable development partner in key international markets. This is a significant step forward, enhancing AIG’s competitiveness and reinforcing the presence of Vietnamese agricultural ingredients in the global supply chain.
AIG continues its journey to bring premium Vietnamese ingredients to the world.
In recent years, AIG has actively promoted Vietnamese processed agricultural products at leading international trade fairs such as Foodex Japan (Japan), SIAL Shanghai (China), and Thaifex Anuga Asia (Thailand). Continuing its expansion in Europe, the company will next appear at Food Ingredients Europe (Fi Europe 2025) in Paris, France, this December.
Through its ongoing commitment to enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products and strengthening global trade promotion, AIG is steadily realizing its vision of positioning Vietnam as one of the world’s leading agri-food processing centers, contributing to the country’s growing reputation on the global ingredient map.
