1. Key Responsibilities

Financial Controlling & Strategy

  • Robust framework: develop and implement rigorous financial control frameworks across all factory entities and subsidiaries.
  • Standardization: drive group-wide standardization of financial policies and systems to ensure data consistency across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Performance leadership: lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and oversee high-accuracy month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Consolidated reporting: oversee consolidated financial reporting and provide deep-dive analysis for executive decision-making.
  • Margin & profitability: implement standardized margin analysis to identify and eliminate profit leakages across the value chain, from raw Aloe sourcing to export.
  • Cash Flow: ensure healthy working capital and optimized cash generation to support the liquidity needs of a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Functional Business Partnership (FBP)

  • Production controlling: oversee financial controls for sourcing operations, focusing on the volatile pricing of raw Aloe vera and Nata de coco.
  • Costing & variance: partner with Factory Directors to supervise production costs and variance analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Supply chain: lead financial controlling for S&OP, procurement, and logistics to reduce landed costs for 35 export markets.
  • Commercial strategy: partner with Sales and Marketing to refine pricing strategies and analyze customer/product performance.
  • Support functions: provide financial decision support and business case development for R&D, IT, HR, and Legal.

Accounting, VAS Excellence & Corporate Governance

  • VAS mastery: ensure 100% compliance with Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and statutory local reporting requirements.
  • SOPs: design and audit financial SOPs to ensure operational discipline across the three factories.
  • Audit management: manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions to ensure smooth statutory audits.
  • Internal controls: ensure regulatory compliance across all whiles maintaining strong control environments.
  • Risk assessment: develop frameworks for financial risk assessment and support mitigation planning.
  • Contract management: support legal and commercial teams with financial risk assessments during B2B contract reviews.

Team Leadership & Compliance Mindset

  • High-performing team: build and lead a finance team that proactively supports business needs and fosters cross-functional collaboration.
  • Cultural leadership: cultivate a “Compliant-First” mindset, ensuring every team member maintains corporate governance.
  • Talent development: conduct performance reviews and mentor staff in accounting, costing, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge exchange: facilitate sharing of best practices and specialized finance resources across subsidiary teams.

2. Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory; MBA preferred.
  • Certifications: professional certifications such as CPA (Vietnam or International), ACCA, CMA, or APA are required.
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing.
  • Industry context: extensive experience in Agro-processing, F&B, or high-volume B2B sectors.
  • Technical mastery: deep knowledge of VAS, tax laws, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Microsoft Dynamics).
