ACP Hands Over Renovated School Facility in Vinh Long

On October 16, 2025, Asia Coconut Processing Joint Stock Company (ACP), a member of Asia Ingredients Group (AIG), together with its partner Olam Vietnam, officially handed over the “School Renovation and Clean Water for Students” project to Tan Thanh Kindergarten in Hung Nhuong Commune, Vinh Long Province.

The handover ceremony was attended by representatives from the local Party Committee, the Fatherland Front of Tan Thanh Commune, the school board, and parents of Tan Thanh Kindergarten students.

Implemented over two months, the project encompassed three key components: upgrading the playground, renovating classrooms and restrooms, and installing a standard-compliant water filtration system.

A newly installed water filtration system provides students with safe drinking water on campus.

After completion, the kindergarten now features a bright and green environment, with an artificial grass playground, a covered play area, and new, education-standard equipment. Electrical systems, lighting, and personal storage facilities have been fully refurbished. The restrooms were comprehensively upgraded, providing a clean and safe environment for the children. Notably, the new water filtration system ensures a reliable supply of clean drinking water for all students, supporting their health and well-being.

At the ceremony, Principal Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy shared her heartfelt appreciation: “Our playground is now lush and vibrant, the classrooms are bright and tidy. Most importantly, the restrooms are clean and the water filtration system meets all standards. For our children, access to clean water is not only a joy but also a precious gift for their health.”

Attending the event, Mr. Vo Van Lam, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hung Nhuong Commune Party Committee, emphasized: “The School Renovation and Clean Water project is more than a material contribution. It demonstrates the companies’ deep social responsibility and timely support for local education. We are committed to maintaining and using the facility effectively and sustainably for the benefit of future generations.”

The new playground, covered and equipped with artificial turf, offers a safe and clean recreational space for children.
