Following its successful showcase at SIAL Shanghai 2025, Asia Ingredients Group (AIG) continues to highlight the strength and global potential of Vietnamese agricultural products at Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025.

This marks AIG’s fifth consecutive participation at Thaifex, one of Asia’s most prominent trade shows for the food and beverage industry. Through a specialized ecosystem of high-tech agricultural solutions sourced from Vietnam, AIG is elevating the reputation of Vietnamese ingredients on the international stage.

Bringing Vietnamese Ingredients to the World

Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025 is taking place from May 27 to 31, 2025 at the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. The event gathers more than 3,100 companies from over 50 countries and territories, with over 2,000 strategic buyers and more than 90,000 trade visitors from over 130 countries, including emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa.

This year’s show focuses on major industry trends such as plant-based innovation, sustainable products, and the circular economy. Embracing the theme “Ingredients for Better Life,” AIG presents a rich portfolio of globally certified ingredients, including coconut water, coconut milk, coconut cream, canned fruit juice, dried coconut, tapioca starch, and non-dairy creamer.

These products are increasingly favored by global food and beverage manufacturers for their quality and sustainability. At Thaifex 2025, AIG gained strong interest from international buyers and strategic partners including distributors, retail chains, and major consumer brands from the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Northeast Asia.

With consistent participation over five years, AIG has emerged as a trusted representative of Vietnam’s ingredient industry, bringing sustainable and socially responsible agricultural products into global supply chains.

Sustainability at the Core of AIG’s Strategy

The food and beverage market is changing fast. Today’s consumers care more about health, sustainability, and knowing where their food comes from. A report by Future Market Insights predicts that the global plant-based ingredients market will grow by 8.6% each year from 2024 to 2034.

With natural resources and improving production standards, Vietnam is ready to take a bigger role in supplying sustainable ingredients. Coconut and cassava, in particular, are two of Vietnam’s top agricultural exports, often called the “green gold” of Vietnamese farming.

As of 2024, Vietnam ranks among the world’s top five coconut exporters, generating close to USD 1.1 billion in export value for fresh coconuts and coconut-based products. Cassava has also maintained stable export earnings of over USD 1 billion annually. Both commodities represent Vietnam’s growing potential in high-value agriculture and its ability to support green growth and rural incomes.

AIG is one of Vietnam’s top suppliers of ingredients and full-service solutions for the food and life sciences sectors. The group includes more than eight member companies serving industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fragrances, and manufacturing.

Within its ingredient ecosystem, coconut and cassava are two core commodities receiving major investment. AIG is developing a full-value supply chain by establishing raw material zones, investing in scientific research, and applying modern technologies to ensure reliable ingredient quality that meets global standards.

Since 2014, AIG has led innovation in processing Vietnam’s agricultural “green gold.” Today, the company manages over 1,000 hectares of certified organic coconut plantations in Ben Tre and Tra Vinh, where no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used. With UHT sterilization and Tetra Pak packaging, AIG’s Vico Fresh coconut water has reached more than 40 countries, including Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.

Cassava is also a strategic focus. AIG has invested in advanced processing facilities certified to ISO 22000:2018, Halal, Kosher, FDA, Organic, and Non-GMO standards. Its cassava-based ingredients are now present in demanding markets such as Europe, North America, and China.

Moving forward, AIG will continue to expand organic farming zones, enhance product quality, and accelerate the use of advanced processing technologies to sharpen its competitive edge. At the same time, the group is strengthening strategic partnerships and diversifying distribution networks to bring Vietnamese ingredients to more markets around the world.

International visitors explore AIG’s natural-origin ingredient innovations.

With its continued commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, AIG is building a unique ingredient ecosystem based on Vietnam’s agricultural strengths. This marks a shift from Vietnam as a raw material supplier to a central contributor in the global value chain, especially in the fast-growing segment of natural and high-value ingredients.
